Modupe Kadri's pictureMr. Modupe Kadri is a seasoned chartered Accountant of high repute and presently a General Manger Financial Operations in the Telecommunications Industry. He was appointed to the Board of Al-Barakah Microfinance Bank Limited in 2009 as Non-Executive Director. Modupe started his professional career in 1988 with Pricewaterhouse Coopers rising to the position of Manager before resigning to further his studies and professional development abroad in 1999. He worked briefly with Deloitte and Touche, Bracknell and Safiee & Co (Accountants and Tax Consultants, London England as Senior Consultant/Auditor. In 2002, he joined Allied Pickfords Limited, London England in the capacity of Group Reporting Manager. He returned back to Nigeria in 2003 and joined Lafarge Cement WAPCO Plc, holding various positions in Senior management including being the company’s Financial Controller, where he was responsible and specifically in charge of Management reporting and later Business Development. Modupe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Management degree both from the University of Lagos. He is equally a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), UK and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He has attended several courses locally and internationally and is an alumnus of both INSEAD and Columbia Business School. He is highly successful in his chosen career and highly respected among his fellow accountants. Modupe has widely travelled and received numerous awards and commendations. He is happily married with children and hails from Isonyin in Ogun state, Nigeria.
